SANCTUARY
Mists. Waves. A mantle of water, chiming against the stones, sketches in the sand, and returns to the sea. The wind conducts the orchestra, combs the bushes, caresses the birds, and cradles infinity.
A thousand birds talk at once. They let themselves be carried by the salty breeze as the bed of a river comes to its end.
The guides introduce themselves. “Any questions? Be respectful, check your pockets, we’ve arrived at the Sanctuary.”
The flutter of birds and the buzz of bees suddenly vanishes. The threat manifests in a flash. Perhaps dreaming of being a bird too, a plane takes off and departs while seagulls bid it farewell, resuming their song.
“Sanctuary” is the sonorous awakening of a delicate yet powerful ecosystem, which, once again, dreams of prevailing.
